As Programme Manager, Mairi leads and manages the Thrive Outdoors programme ensuring that Thrive Outdoors and our thematic areas of work are coherent and mutually reinforcing.

The thematic leads each have specific responsibilities in terms of fund coordination and/ or strategic development but also work closely together as a team to create a programme of integrated work to support our vision for a sustainable Scotland where our children and young people can play, learn, and thrive outdoors.

Mairi also acts as Strategic Lead for Inspiring Scotland’s Outdoor Nursery subsidiary, Willow Den Scotland.

Favourite place to explore outdoors:  I love beaches and woodlands. Achnahaird in Sutherland is my favourite beach!
