The Thrive Outdoor team are a lively bunch. Our collective CV spans decades of experience in outdoor play and learning; from early learning practitioner to charity CEO. We live and breathe outdoor play and learning and have experienced successes and challenges at every level.
Ultimately, it’s our passion and commitment to harnessing the power of outdoor play and learning to positively impact children and young people in Scotland. Fund Support Officer
Sarah is a fund support officer for Thrive Outdoors, working across all areas of our work to evaluate and demonstrate our impact internally and externally. She has volunteered in organisations from local to international scales, and brings strong organisational, event management, and communication skills to the team.
Mairi Ferris
Fund Manager
Mairi works alongside Melodie to strategically lead the Thrive Outdoors programme with specific responsibility for our work on Early Learning & Childcare and Nature Based Learning. This work supports practitioners and settings to develop and embed outdoor play pedagogy into their daily practice.
